i've made just an little Proposal for our contributing at the Community Week. You can find it out under: http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Weekly_News/Community_Week If you have Proposals or Ideas, you can add this in the Page. I read the page and totally agree with the concept. I will be able to join the session 12:00 - 16:00 (21:00 - 01:00 in our local time) Wednesday.
In addition, I'd like to:
- make a presentation for translating Weekly News (in the case of Japanese) My actual Presentation i've attached to this Email. If you have additions or other Ideas, just say it ;-)
I made a quick sweep of your presentation and have found it good enough for newbies. However, I think it will be much attractive if some screenshots are inserted. :-) <!-- Off Topic And, this is getting off the point, but there's one thing I am anxious about. It's not about the contents of the presentation, but the template of it. As you can see in page 2, there's a description that says '$DATE Novell, Inc.' Are you a person from Novell? Or, everyone who make presentations by using this template will be considered a Novell person? In addition, you can find a description in last page 'General Disclaimer', that says 'Further, Novell, Inc., reserves the right to revise this document and to make change to its content, at any time, without obligation to notify any person or entity of such revisions or changes.' IMHO, this 'General Disclaimer' fits for the documents that are the results of Novell persons *business*, but doesn't fit for the ones by volunteer contributers. If we make some presentations by using this template, Novell will be granted the right to those presentations automatically? That's weird. I hope this template will be improved to fit for the use by community members. Off Tpoic ends here. --> I myself am preparing presentation about translating OWN - by using my self-made template ;-) - and it will be done on this weekend.
I've tried making a time table and some contents for the Week. http://en.opensuse.org/Talk:OpenSUSE_Weekly_News/Community_Week # The table in the page has a little complex structure though. :-( Thank you very much. I've moved your stuff to the Mainpage.
@Sascha Would you please make an entry of OWN Team in Schedule/Topics on 'Community Week' page? http://en.opensuse.org/Community_Week @Coordinators & Translators I beg you once again. Please fill in the table[1], if you can organize the session for translating OWN into your language, and, even if you can't, I'd appreciate it if you fill the "Coordinator" column with your e-mail address at least, so that interested persons can contact you.
