Hi all,

Over the break, someone made the suggestion that we might want to
consider setting up a Laconica server for openSUSE members /
contributors.

Any thoughts? I know that many people on the list are already using
Twitter / Identi.ca. We really need to encourage as much blogging /
online activity around openSUSE as possible, and it seems to me that
we *might* be able to encourage openSUSE contributors to do something
under 140 characters where we have trouble convincing them to post
longer blogs.

Thoughts?

Best,

Zonker

not sure about having our own server. might be cool to do that, but
where are the resources for that? the microblogging though is a great
idea. We need it to be searchable by google and the likes though.
