Yes, fair criticism. 

For the language point, I was quoting wrongly from this wiki page: 
http://en.opensuse.org/Documentation

Also, I agree the manuals are not easy for the new user to find, but that 
could be improved.

However, I do think the manuals are an important plus point for openSUSE 
compared to other distros.
