here in latinoamerica we have FLISOL, which stands for
Latin America free software installation festival. We have it once a year to promote the use of free software, usually it consists of installation (last year it was mainly ubuntu), and talks over GNU philosophy, workshops, etc. We had a few soponsors in the city I live in, and I was wondering if we, as a Linux Users Group, could have some openSUSE cd's and stickers like the ones canonical ships, just to show people the openSUSE distro. Has openSUSE done anything like that for a south america event? I mean, sponsored an event by sending cd's, stickers or banners?
This topic was explained by me =D @ my last marketing meeting We had an agreement, that the project openSUSE.org will assist to the countries that ask for sponsor :)
Nicaragua is going to be one of them ;)
Ricardo Varas from where?
greetings

I'm from Chile. Duncan Mac-Vicar and Cristian Rodriguez of openSUSE are from here too ;) So I'm very interested in having some openSUSE stuff for our next flisol, what should I do for that? I'm ready to receive any sort of information from you.
