I really hopy that export xmodifiers things could be included with YasT.

2. Is there any configuration file to tweak to make SCIM working?
If you don't set LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.UTF-8 and you want that it starts
nevertheless automatically with your X-session, create a file
~/.xim and write
export XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM" scim -d
into that file.
You can use any UTF-8 locale you like.
