JOE is a fairly popular editor.
It si similar to WordStar but can also emulate the basic behaviour of
Pico and Emacs (when called as jpico or jmacs respectively).
Especially the Pico emulation may help Pine users because Pico is the
default editor of Pine. Long time Pico/Pine users are often reluctant
to switch to a different editor. Maybe the Pico emulation
of JOE can help here.
