Not sure what you mean here, our openSUSE LXDE packages are
maintained in X11:lxde, there is also X11:lxde:Test for more
experimental stuff.
A major upcoming issue would be to integrate the lightdm login
manager into openSUSE, however this requires that the upstream
author implements proper support for login/logout scripts first.
An annoyance which I haven't had time to look into are the
current default filetype associations, e.g. currently text files
are opened with Abiword rather than beaver, most images types are
opened with mtpaint rather than gpicview etc. This might be
influenced by /etc/gnome_defaults.conf (at least that is what
GNOME does). This is a bite-sized task ideal for getting started ;)
so you might add this to the above whishlist.

so first of all thank you for the list.
I think i will take a look at the upstream git repo to compare what we
have on opensuse side and could be took from the upstream. After that i
switch to the first point and take a look at the LXCC stuff you told.
Any hints on where to start ow where to find the right modules are very
welcome :-)
