Hi, the problem I'm reporting can be observed only if the line multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel) in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf is commented. That is what I do normally because I only want the latest kernel installed. This does not cause any problem in 12.3 but in 13.1 it does. Kernel Modules: ata_piix xhci-hcd Features: acpi plymouth block usb btrfs resume.userspace resume.kernel this is due to the packages kernel-default-base-3.11.6-4.1 and kernel-desktop-base-3.11.6-4.1 being installed when kernel-desktop-3.11.6-4.1 and kernel-default-3.11.6-4.1 are removed. The reason for them being installed is that some kernel module rpms (ndiswrapper-kmp, vhba-kmp, virtualbox-guest-kmp, virtualbox-host-kmp) in the 13.1 repository explicitely requires the presence of kernel 3.11.6-4. If i run: rpm -q --requires vhba-kmp-default it shows the line: kernel-uname-r = 3.11.6-4-default Such strict requirement of a kernel version is not present in the vhba-kmp rpm of 12.3. Is this new strict requirement something that was decided or it is the result of a bug? Is there a fix for my problem or I cannot have anymore only one kernel installed?
