I've been working on making the kernel configs easier to work with from the developer side. Currently, we have 42 kernel flavors across 9 architectures. For the most part, the configs should be similar. At least within an architecture family, they should be very similar with only slight differences between them to differentiate the flavor.
Hi Jeff, thanks for doing this. I unfortunately didn't have time to have a closer look. Just one remark - The same scripts need to work also with older branches, which we are not changing. So you need to determine whether the current branch has this feature or not, e.g. test for presence of config/common and only then to the reduced config thing.
