Please forgive me for asking this question. I really do not know anything about encoded mail and therefore have no idea where the problem may lie. But is it really necessary for a message sent to, say, this mail list which contains all of the text as shown above? I know that the posting rules for openSUSE lists suggests that the max number of lines in a signature be limited to 4 lines but the above is simply ridiculous.
