Hi, I have a problem with audio capture on the laptop Dell Vostro A90 Audio capture does not work from the internal microphone. Audio capture worked fine in openSUSE 11.4 The same setup on another dell laptop (different model) works fine. Installing kernel 3.2 from Kernel:/HEAD/standard repository also fixes the problem: audio capture from the internal microphone works again. Unfortunately I cannot use the new kernel on such laptop because, at the moment, the latest broadcom wl kernel module fails to compile. Does anybody already know what patch fixed the issue in 3.2? Should I open a bug in bugzilla in order to have the fix backported in the openSUSE 12.1 kernel? Attached you can find the output of the script alsa-info.sh for standard 3.1.0-1.2-default kernel (audio capture not working) and latest 3.2.0-2-default kernel (audio capture working) Thanks for your help.
