This was incorrectly disabled during the 2.6.38 merge. The patched code
was only heavily moved around, but the fix is still needed. I rebased
and reenabled the patch and asked reporters of the corresponding bug to
retest (the bnc was reopened). If that works, I'll ping upstream about
that...
