[opensuse-kernel] 11.2 kernel-rt-2.6.31-3.4 won't boot

Hi, I decided to try out the rt kernel as the description says optimized
for desktop and I maintain rosegarden4 which I thought would benefit
from it but it won't boot due to not being able to see my disk.
It gets past grub and loads but cannot see any disks, even the ext2 boot
partition that it was loaded from. I searched bugzilla and the only bug
against was the lack of source and that was for 11.0.
Does nobody use this kernel or am I missing something?
Regards
Dave P
