Hallo; I'am usually running the latest KOTD on a SUSE-10.2 X86-64 system. Until 2.6.22.9-20071002175559-default there was no problem but since 2.6.22.9-20071004172408 the system just freezes when X11 is started. Unfortunately I haven't found any usable error messages ( neither in /var/log/messages nor in Xorg.0.log) yet. According the changelog the problem seems to be introduced with one of these changes: * Do Okt 04 2007 - jeffm@suse.de - patches.suse/kabi-safe-2.6.22.6-tcp_sendmsg: kABI: rework tcp_sendmsg fix from 2.6.22.6 - patches.suse/kabi-safe-2.6.22.8-snd_mem: kABI: rework ALSA memalloc seq_file change from 2.6.22.8 * Do Okt 04 2007 - jeffm@suse.de - patches.suse/kabi-safe-2.6.22.6-tcp_sendmsg: kABI: rework tcp_sendmsg fix from 2.6.22.6 - patches.suse/kabi-safe-2.6.22.8-snd_mem: kABI: rework ALSA memalloc seq_file change from 2.6.22.8 - patches.suse/kabi-safe-2.6.22.9-mtd: kABI: revert mtdcore/mtdsuper module merging from 2.6.22.9 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
