Hello:
This is a problem in openSUSE 13.1 with KDE3 (from KDE3 repo).
I have digikam 0.9.6, digikamimageplugins 0.9.6 and kde3-kipi-plugins-0.1.6.
When I try to rotate a jpg image in the digikam My Albums window (ctrl+shift+-right), an error message is displayed: "Failed to rotate image" and the image is not rotated. If I run digikam in a console window, the output is:
> digikam
failed to find gam_server
Failed to connect to socket /tmp/fam-user-

libpng error: IDAT: invalid distance too far back
libpng error: IDAT: invalid distance too far back
Transforming with option 0 5

Transforming with option 0 5
This worked OK in openSUSE 12.2.
How can I fix it?
Thanks,
Istvan
