Hello! I am trying KDE3 on my new laptop computer Dell Lattitude E6230. (I have also tried KDE4 and it has improved much the last years. It is now usable for serious work. But it crashes too often. It crashes twice a day on my computer. I do not loose data but it takes some (expensive) working time to restart the computer.) With KDE3 I have had some problems. Some functions and features which worked earlier do not work any longer. Right now I would like to have a working battery status indicator to see much of the charge (or time) is left and and have low battery level warnings, automatic suspend at low level etc. I can start the old KDE3 applet kpowersave but it does not tell my the battery level. Actually it does not have any of its old functions. I can see the battery level by the command upower -d in a shell. I would like to have the old behavior of kpowersave or the equivalent in KDE4. Does anyone have an idea or tip? Regards Svante Björklund -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
