Hi Patrick,
Sorry, I don't understand. Why do you need to delete "libkde4"? I have not tested 13.1 yet but up until 12.3 I was able to have both KDE4 and KDE3 libraries running side by side. But if "libkde4" bugs you, can you not simply have a clean install where you choose a minimal X windows system and then install the KDE3 libraries? In this way, you will not have any KDE4 related libraries right from the start.
And, what exactly is slower in OSS 13.1 + KDE3? I would be happy if you could share your experience in more details since I am going to install a machine with OSS 13.1 + KDE3 sometime soon.

Hi All About the speed, general (graphical) reaction time to user's actions look slower, I dont know for a running heavy sofware like FIND or UPDATEDB. The machin that is now running 13.1 was running Oss 10.3, 11.1 and 12.2 before. But be aware that the appreciation of speed change is not so simple to me, because there are few monthes now that I use 12.2 on a 4 cores AMD main board, and this is relative fast, so, there are subjectivity risks… Patrick -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
