Why does ksnapshot require ghostscript-fonts-other, which if allowed to be installed, also installs ghostscript, fribidi, ghostscript-x11& libpcreposix0? I locked it out, which resulted in zypper installation of only kdegraphics3, fribidi& libprcreposix0, and I see nothing wrong with how ksnapshot works.
KDE3 has no package named ksnapshot. About what package do you talk?
kdegraphics3
KDE3's ksnapshot is part of kdegraphics3.
AFAIK, there's nothing in kdegraphics3 I use except ksnapshot, unless gwenview is also contained therein. IIRC, in KDE4, ksnapshot and gwenview are separate packages. As a routine KDE3 user who installs and updates KDE3 infrequently, but installs and updates KDE4 as part of Factory frequently while actually using it little, these differences can be easily confused. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
