This is a *very hard* task to take, since the support must go into Qt and needs to support all the platforms Qt supports. Getting date formats right in this way (including local / regional quirks) is a very hard and unrewarding task.
"must go" ?!? dozens of frameworks/libs and we miss such easy function.. I'm not ranting, I'm just wonder about it.. Anyway, I'm wrong or is there a way changing the qml file ?
