Akademy, the annual conference and meetup of the KDE community, is happening
at Brno, Czech Republic, from September 6 to 12, this year [1].
I thought this might be a great opportunity to bring together the team
packaging KDE software for openSUSE for some workshop, hacking, discussing
with upstream. KDE always has tried to keep a close relationship to the people
packaging the software for users, and openSUSE clearly is one of the most
relevant players here (some would say the most relevant ;-)
What do you guys think? Would you be interested in having such a meeting at
Akademy? What would you like to see to happen there?
Feel free to reply here or to reach out to me privately to discuss this idea.
I would be happy, if we can make it happen, to the mutual benefit of both, KDE
and openSUSE.
By the way, if there is something you would like to show or present at
Akademy, the call for papers is still open [2]. Don't hesitate to send
proposals there. The submission deadline is on Sunday this week.
