are also many other people who are waiting for an official announcement in the most-read openSUSE list - the HELP one I suspect - that there has I announced it on planet openSUSE
What the heck is "planet openSUSE"?
and there was an announcement on this very list.
Date and time and copy of message thank you. The only message I saw was the one from Raymond.
There is only so much one can do in his/her own free time along with tons of other commitments, so more help is welcome (instead of useless, non- constructive bickering).
I would be most interested in whatever statistics you can produce to show the number of people who read what you called above "planet openSUSE" as well as how many people actually know about it. Now, just as a thought - just as a thought mind you, and I am saying this so that it doesn't cause apoplexy - I am (or rather was) subscribed to a mail list for another distro and even though I am no longer subscribed I get an e-mail telling me that there has been a change to the s/ware. Now, wouldn't it be nice if whoever is on the mail list for, say, KDE and openSUSE [Help] would get an e-mail telling them that a new version of KDE has been made available and which repo it's in now? You get the picture. (Yes? Or is the concept too much to grasp?) BC -- A civilisation is judged by how it treats the most vulnerable.
