Hello,
my zypper is crying for empty repository in KDE 13.1
will this fill up again with a new Version? You have obviously not been following the thread in this list; and there are also many other people who are waiting for an official announcement in the most-read openSUSE list - the HELP one I suspect - that there has been a major change in the repositories' structure for KDE. But such simple announcement appears to be too difficult to produce. I always appreciate the constructive approach you could have. It seems you knows the changes is happening. And also see that kde team have perhaps forget to forward the announcement message to news team. Then WHY didn't you copy & paste the announce and send it to news team ? That's called community is charge, and contribution. Go to the wiki page re openSUSE's repositories and you should see that

BC Sincerely And I guess that you have never heard of the parameter called CC: in the message Header which you can use to post the same message in another/other list/s?
No I guess you haven't.

Basil, that kind of comment really doesn't help. I would define it as a kind of sarcastic remark, thrown away just to try to have the last word.
CC a list where I'm not subscribe will not help dude!
Don't call me "dude". Only immature American teenagers use the word "dude".
Cross-posting is Evil, don't count on me to do it!
Sorry if it offends you but there quite a number of people who use CC: to post messages to more than one list - and it appears that this abiliity is restricted to select few because I *I* tried to do this my CC: post would be rejected by the mail-bot controlling oS mail lists.
In place of wasting our time with that kind of comment, did you send the summary to news team. No I guess you haven't, once again those who work have done it.
Listen, it isn't my job to send anything to any "news team" - whatever that may be. Firstly, I wouldn't know what to send anyone anything because I do not know all the details. Secondly, I have no official standing in the scheme of things and therefore simply would not dare to send out information about something which I have no knowledge!
I'm still dreaming one day to see your first positive contribution.
I am making - once again really - a positive contribution which is to simply have the information about any changes re new version releases, or changes to repos as in this instance, of KDE to be advised to users in either or both oS Announce of oS [help] lists. When one installs openSUSE the first mail list that they subscribe to would be openSUSE [help] and it would be the one with the biggest audience. So my "campaign" is simply asking for any info about KDE be posted there at least so that people know about important and progressive changes to KDE. Just a simple, no-brainer, request for this to happen - and one which would be easily satisfied by simply adding a CC: to a post in this list - but which has now appears to have been turned into a childish stoush.
