Hello everybody. When I try to play a game against my computer, knights stops when charging the game saying: unable to start the application, check if it is installed. Knights is of course installed and the engines (gnuchess, crafty and stockfish20) too and verified. Is this a bug I should report or is there a trick I should know of. Works here fine. Maybe you are using a wrong engine? You starts knights. You see a dialogue referring to player 1, player2. For player 1 it is human. Player 2 should be the engine. If I select crafty all is OK, if I select Sjeng I get the behavior described by you.
Standard of the engines xboard (but UCI does not make any difference), KDE 4.11.5 and tried with various desktop layout and themes.
Is anybody having the same problem? If it is a bug, should I report to the mail of the author or to the bugzilla (who handles extra repo stuff?)
