Hi.
Sorry that not answered before. And sorry that I don't have any idea how to resolve it.
This package was originally made by Red Dwarf ( https://build.opensuse.org/user/show/RedDwarf ). And I SR-d it with dreamdesktop plasmoid. I wonder if he could help to update it.
Well, the latest libffmpeg-devel version from Packman (with all code stripped) is always available in the RedDwarf:fakePackman project on OBS. https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:RedDwarf:fakePackman I build packages against that since years... ;) But what I also want to ask regarding this: Apparently this is ok in KDE:Extra. What about adding that fake libffmpeg-devel package to KDE:Release:xy and KDE:Distro:Factory? It would be possible then to provide a nepomuk-core (or baloo) package then with ffmpeg support. So the dolphin information panel or the properties dialog (also from the folderview widget) could show additional information for most multimedia files then. This would solve https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=858498, f.e. Of course the ffmpeg part should be split out to a separate package, I'm willing to work on this and submit a package. What are your opinions about that? Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
