Hello, I run KDE 4.10 on openSUSE 12.3. I do not run pulseaudio, just plain good old ALSA with a Philips bluetooth headphone. The bt headphone just runs fine. But, I cannot change the volume with kmix. Actually, kmix does not show the headphone at all. As I said, it runs well, it plays music with kaffeine and vlc. But kmix does not show the device. The strange thing is, when I try amixer directly with amixer -D btheadset I get this message: ALSA lib audio/ctl_bluetooth.c:167:(bluetooth_send_ctl) Unable to receive new volume value from server ALSA lib audio/ctl_bluetooth.c:161:(bluetooth_send_ctl) Unable to request new volume value to server: Broken pipe amixer: Mixer btheadset load error: Broken pipe In the end, I simply cannot change the volume, not with amixer, not with kmixer. Does anyone have a clue? Is my ALSA configuration not 100% fine? But, the headset works, it plays music. Do I need to change asound.conf? Below you can see my asound.conf. Thanks for any hint!
