In the early days of Kmail2 I migrated to Thunderbird, as I couldn't get the 'new' Kmail to work.
Time passes, and so yesterday I thought I'd give Kmail another look. It had remembered my IMAP mail server settings, and imported the folder structure, so setting it up was no problem, and it downloaded all the mail.
However, all the new mail was dumped in the Inbox, despite there being a comprehensive set of active filters.
What's more, the filters refuse to work manually, neither with Control-J nor using the right button mouse menu.
Is this a known bug in the current incarnation of Kmail? I've googled and searched the archives of this list, but failed to find an answer.
My system is described in my sig, but in case that gets stripped, it's
System: Linux 3.7.10-1.4-desktop Distro: openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64) with KDE Development Platform: 4.10.3 "release 559"
Thank you,

My system is: openSUSE 12.3 KDE 4.10.4 release 569 KMail 4.10.4 Kernel 3.7.10-1.11-desktop I use pop3 accounts instead of IMAP, so I do not know if next is relevant. Filtering is improved in each of KDE 4.10.x monthly update. Now it works rather well, except small amount duplicates and relatively slow operation. I had problems with filtering when I used /home from older KDE version. Setting fresh home and filtering rules solved most of problems -- Viljo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
