So what? Still happens with FreeBSD and Mozilla releases and contrary to these, KDE only releases source code. Most people will rely on distributors anyway and everybody with an KDE Identity gets a "Release tagged" email. Any distributor could build packages off git/svn tags/branches. The private (not secret, whatever the difference is...) kde-packager list just cause trouble as seen with KR49 and oS is a popular distribution. For newcomers the hurdles are even bigger... I hope Will will use his influence to make kde-packager public (at least read- only). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
