So very good to hear that the 12.2 is to be built.

Thank you! A most interesting graphic! But I don't like the "unresolvable" and the "blocked" bits, especially the former :-) .
Those are temporary. What happens is that packages are set to depend on the current KDE SC release. However, the base packages for that release have not been built yet. So for example kdeartwork4 depends on kdebase4-runtime >= 4.9.0. However, kdebase4-runtime 4.9.0 hasn't been built yet, so kdeartwork4 can't find it. Once kdebase4-runtime is built kdeartwork4 will see it (actually it may change to blocked when kdebase4-runtime starts to build, I can't remember). Blocked just means that a dependency is currently waiting on something else. So for example kdebase4-runtime is waiting for a bunch of packages, such as nepomuk-core, which in turn is waiting for several other packages, like kactivities, which in turn is waiting in line for its chance to build. So all of those just mean that that something something else needs is not done yet. You normally shouldn't be worried unless you start seeing "failed" or "broken", or "unresolvable" when everything else is already built. That being said, there are a couple packages in 12.2 that were failing on RC2, but they aren't critical ones and hopefully fixes are available. I will worry about those, if necessary, once everything is published. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
