I wouldn't remove openSUSE 11.4 support right now. People running 11.4, might still want to install KDE 4.9 :-)
Sven Burmeister said not to (due to the impending eol), that is why I am asking.
Yep. 11.4 will be eol before 4.9 gets its minor updates so what's the point of starting to support something which will be dropped in the middle?
Also it puts an extra load on the already overloaded obs, especially since you picked Factory which is usually not part of an KRxy repo, since it is an unstable "release".

I have no particular side in this. Building for openSUSE 11.4 is not just a matter of enabling repos, however, since it also requires a number of additional packages that are available by default in openSUSE 12.1 and later. There is nothing to prevent this, in fact the packages in question are already in the KR49 repo, just disabled. I will let people more knowledgeable and more experienced than me make that call. However, I plan to clean up the spec files prior to merging everything back to KDF, so the sooner I know whether I should remove openSUSE 11.4 references the better. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
