Hello me again, now one problem is resolved. I did forget to save the settings as default, now at reboot I have the desired configuration. The remaining problem is : Why does Screen Size & Rotate not work ? Where do I find this Icon you write about ? Thank you very much for your help Reinhard ----------------------------------------

Thank you. This works for me, but .... when I reboot the system the configuration turns up as before. I have 2 screens and would like to have them different. After the reboot I have a clone of the screen and the resolution turns back to the previous defined one.
if I try it via Applications > System > Desktop Applet > Screen Resize & Rotate the application tries to start ( there is a pulsing icon ), when I do ps -ef | grep krand I see also the process running, but nothing happens.
Thank you very much for any suggestion ...
So the problem is that the configured resolutions are not restored on reboot, if I understand correctly?
Should be easy for others to confirm.
