And if I'm not wrong smartphones use ARM and they do use full indexing, i.e.
semantic search etc. as nepomuk tries to. Sothe concept of nepomuk is used on
ARM and in fact is promoted as a feature.

I wonder if kde on openSuSE could be more tunable or if there could be a
netbook/smartbook setting without nepomuk and other programs in
/usr/share/autostart or that a user can select himself what should be
started up automatically.
systemsettings > start/stop
I don't use nepomuk at all, and it has a negative effect on the
performance of my system I would like to disable it permanently.
systemsettings > desktop search to disable nepomuk
I think if this option doesn't exist, kde won't be usable on an ARM device.
