You recommend using OpenGL, but in his case OpenGL is not working.Sven was
He had to tell KDE not to use it with:
OpenGLIsUnsafe=true
(OpenGL-is-unsafe :)
Why he has a problem with OpenGL is another question, and that is why
asking about packages.My file ~/.kde4/share/config/kwinrc also contains a line
with OpenGLIsUnsafe=false
