After installing GNOME 3 for testing, there some problems on my KDE-desktop. I can´t start KNetworkManager, because there´s an issue with D-Bus. The systemwide D-Bus configuration doesn´t allow to give user data to KNetworkManager.
I de-installed the GNOME-networkmanager packages in the hope, that it will be better after it. That wasn´t the case.
So, I got a system without any connection to the internet, and I´m really desperate about the problem.
Is there any solution to fix my issue? I don´t wanna reinstall my whole system, and I haven´t any back up files (yeah, I know, I *should* actually, but it was well running, so I forgot :( )
So, any help?
GNOME3 requires NM 0.9 backend. The KDE NM plasmoid is not yet ready for NM 0.9. So either use gnomer nm-applet in KDE or don't use GNOME3/NetworkManager 0.9. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
