-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi everyone, I'm running openSUSE 11.4 x86_64 with KDE 4.6.3 from the Release:46 repo. Since monday, I can't login via kdm with my (unchanged) pam configuration. I can login via console without changing it. The original /etc/pam.d/common-auth is - ---snip--- auth required pam_env.so auth optional pam_gnome_keyring.so auth sufficient pam_unix2.so auth [authinfo_unavail=ignore success=1 default=2] pam_ldap.so use_first_pass auth [default=done] pam_ccreds.so action=validate use_first_pass auth [default=done] pam_ccreds.so action=store auth [default=bad] pam_ccreds.so action=update - ---pins--- and I have to change it to - ---snip--- auth required pam_env.so auth optional pam_gnome_keyring.so auth sufficient pam_unix2.so auth sufficient pam_ldap.so use_first_pass - ---pins--- to be able to login via kdm (package kdm-4.6.3-6.4). It even does not mount via pam_mount, so I have to log in via console a second time to have all shares mounted. In /var/log/kdm.log, I only find - ---snip--- X.Org X Server 1.9.3 Release Date: 2010-12-13 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0 Build Operating System: openSUSE SUSE LINUX Current Operating System: Linux rz36 2.6.37.6-0.5-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2011-04-25 21:48:33 +0200 x86_64 Kernel command line: root=/dev/disk/by-label/root1 splash=verbose resume=/dev/disk/by-label/swap42 quiet vga=0x346 Build Date: 12 May 2011 07:42:06PM Current version of pixman: 0.20.0 Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.x.org to make sure that you have the latest version.
