Hi, you can change the behavior of right click as a workaround. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=673004 Yi On 03/22/2011 10:33 PM, Pablo Sanchez wrote:
Howdy,
If I need to file this bug as an upstream bug, I will.
In a VM, I've installed `openSUSE 11.4 + KDE 4.6.1' I first tried customizing my mouse's right-button with the stock `openSUSE 11.4' distribution (I believe KDE 4.4.x). When I couldn't get it to work, I upgraded to `KDE 4.6.1' - I didn't test my findings in KDE 4.4 though.
What I noticed with KDE 4.6.1 (I didn't test this scenario with KDE 4.4), is I can only get the `Application Launcher' to work if I assign it to any other mouse action other than `right-button' :)
For example, if I do the following:
o `Desktop Settings> Mouse Actions> Right-Button' o Select `Application Launcher'
when I right-click on my desktop, I only get a single menu item: `Desktop Settings'
On the other hand, if I set, say `Middle-Button' to `Application Launcher', I get the list of Kicker applications:
o `Desktop Settings> Mouse Actions> Middle-Button' o Select `Application Launcher'
The above works.
What I'm trying to figure out is whether this is an `openSUSE' issue or an upstream bug. I'm more than happy to re-open KDE bug 163016:

Please advise.
