Try this:
Click the little triangle to the right of the existing systray icons...
You can adjust what icons are shown or hidden and when by right
clicking on the systray and selecting System Tray Settings.
I cannot chose anything there, because it is not offered there... no
kmix, no klipper to chose, only battery, notifications and stuff. No
kmix or anything else there....
Are you able to see the triangle? Did you click it? Did it pop up a
small mini window with the hidden icons? Did you right click on the
systray and select > System Tray Settings > Entries? Or did you only
stay on the Display section?
Yes, I went to "entries" and there is onle few entries like padevchooser, the
Pulse audio applet. But, no kmix, no kgpg. Interesting: entries lists some
things like the HP toolbox icon, but no KDE native stuff like kmix,kgpg or
klipper....
