This laptop has an Intel on-chip (i5) wireless, and I've never succeeded in getting that to work. In desperation I disabled networkManager and tried manual setting of the network. It still didn't work. I then tried a USB dongle - and that worked immediately. At that point I decided that I should try networkManager again - but I can't remember how/where I disabled it. I changed the /etc/sysconfig/network/config line to enable networkManager, but it isn't picking up the dongle, so I assume that more is needed. I know that to some extent this is self-inflicted, but I'd welcome help to get the dongle (wlan1) working with networkManager.
