Strigi/Nepomuk is working fine on a desktop (I've finally started
using it, and it's not disruptive at all anymore), but it's one of
those items that really kills performance while it's doing its initial
indexing.  This is a feature I'd definitely vote to have turned off on
the LiveCD.  There is no real benefit to it being switched on, on a
LiveCD.... at least none i can think of.
