Switch is an overloaded term.  Do you mean:
1.1) Ctrl-tab (+shift to go back) keyboard shortcut (old KDE 2/3 style 
shortcut, not present by default in KDE 4)*
1.2) "Switch one desktop [up|down|to the left|to the right]" keyboard 
shortcut*
1.3) Ctrl-F1 etc keyboard shortcuts
2.1) Click pager widget
2.2) Mouse wheel on pager widget
3) Mouse wheel on desktop window
4) Dragging window to screen edge*
5) Pushing on screen edge with the pointer.*
6) Activate Desktop Cube manually, rotate, deactivate*

* not enabled by default in case people think we are on crack.
