Since my last zypper up this morning amarok refuse to load with the following 
message:
amarok(31505)/kdecore (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from  
"/var/tmp/kdecache-andre/ksycoca4"
<unknown program name>(31503)/: Communication problem with  "amarok" , it 
probably crashed.
Error message was:  "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown" : " "The name 
org.kde.amarok was not provided by any .service files" "


My setup is:
kde 4.4.0 release 224
Amarok package info:

Note that I got the same  error with amarok 2.2.1
