Firefox lastest release 3.6 disable oxygen theme (say incompatible)
What were the problems you experienced?
Firefox disable it, use return to it's "ugly" default theme.
I experienced some serious issues using Firefox 3.6.0 and the beta Nvidia drivers (195.30) and KDE 4.4RC1. Graphical corruption of plasma items and windows decorations along with kwin crashes.
I've since rolled back to the stable Nvidia drivers in the Nvidia openSUSE repo but I've not really used Firefox much since then so I can't really say for sure if the issues I experienced remain.
I personnaly use the nvidia drivers coming from repo which actually are 190.53_2.6.31.5_0.1-8.1 I'm working with KDE 4.3.4 In fact it's quite simple to make it working go to your ~/.mozilla/firefox/profile/whatever/extensions/ find the oxygen-theme and edit the install.rdf file put max version to 3.7 for example. with this I've re-enable some of my precious themes & extensions. -- Bruno Friedmann -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
