Hi, I had the same problem, but in YAST, the suggested fix (usually a change of providing repo) worked. However, on restarting KDE with the 4.4 release candidate, not all is well. The KDE4 window decorator crashes on startup, (meaning no window controls), and only running emerald --replace gets things going. window handling isn't working quite right either - if I have multiple Firefox windows, for instance, they can't be restored from minimised status from the kicker panel. They have to be maximised to appear at all and then returned to previous size. Also, the nepomuk search stuff eats system performance and freezes the desktop regularly - I have to disable it. I thought this may have been due to previous version traces, so I removed my .kde and other startup directories in my home to be sure, but no change. I think RC1 isn't quite ready yet. Which brings me to my real point, which other have mentioned as well. The KDE4 repo situation seems to be a bit over-complex, and I'm a 10 year SuSE veteran. At this point, particularly because I used 1-click install, I have a lot of repos, and it's not clear which one(s) I should go back to for a stable KDE install on my up-to-date 11.2 system. Trying to do it manually in YAST leads to huge dependency issues. So, I'm wondering if the situation with KDE repos needs some rationalising, as I can't imagine how a normal user would cope with the number of choices. This NOT a dig at anyone, or just me moaning, just an attempt to start a helpful discussion.
