Some of the changes you made are good, I think it is a great effort
(someone actually doing something instead of complaining on the ML!)
but you may have removed a little too much information in some parts -
actual text links are important because most people just select+copy+paste.
Maybe the simple solution is to split up the page.
I will see if I can contribute something later today.
