Hoi listmates,
I have the following error in thunderbird.
Links to webpages provided in emails don't do anything.
Even rightclick "Open link in browser" does not work.
I can't find the orgin of this error.
Does anybody know about this problem and/or have a solution?
Didn't you get an answer on the opensuse list?
Anyway this thing comes up almost every day so searching for the issue
should bring up some references hopefully meanwhile.

He sure did. I even offered to send him copies of (my) 2 files which
will solve the problem - but, no response.

Sorry, I did not see your answer, I was bussy to sort out all the old
answers I found on the internet. All did not work most of them are based
on the use of the gnome gconf2 tool which does not work in my fresh KDE
environment.
There was another possible solution which porposes the install of
gconf2-branding-opensuse. This gives half of the gnome kit, also a bad
solution for my clean install.
But I will give your 2 files a try.
Nicer was a formal opensuse solution which integrates thunderbird
correct in KDE.
Basil, thanks in advance for your files, Hans
