There are many things being discussed between kde3 and kde4, but one thing I haven't seen talked about yet is konqueror.
The most striking - and most surprising - thing about kde4 for me is that in 4.3.1, konqueror is finally a usable browser. It has become an absolutely brilliant web browser, which is for me now a competitor to firefox in all but plugins and extensions.
All my previous javascript headaches which kept me from using it on a daily basis seems to have gone now. There are still some issues, but the advances it has made in the recent past are just astonishing.
That's good to hear. Does it work for you also on the sites that are said to be problematic, such as GMail or Facebook (I can't quite tell, I don't use them)? -- Lubos Lunak KDE developer -------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org Lihovarska 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 972 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
