I understand that the decision to not add the waste-bin plasmoid to the desktop was taken in the last meeting. However I request that this decision be revisited if possible. The reasons for my request are as follows:- 1. Apart from the fact that most people are used to seeing a bin on their desktops, whether they come from windows, or gnome, or from openSUSE versions 11.0 and before, it is cumbersome to open a file-manager just to clean up the bin which is what one will have to do if the plasmoid is not shown on the desktop. 2. Only from the plasmoid is it possible to set a limit on the amount of disk- space the bin is allowed to use. It is set to a default of 10 % of total disk- space, but this can be changed by right-clicking on the plasmoid and selecting Wastebin settings (or something similar). I could not find another place in KDE4 from where to change this default of 10%.
