Hi Paul, I had a similar problem, see
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=511480 , which went away when
I edited kdesurc and then returned it to it's original state
Apart from KDE Kontrolcenter I don't have problem running other applications
(YaST, Software Management, File Manager Root mode etc.) from KDE4 KMenu at
all. Do you think it may be the same issue?
