a rather worrying fact that i noticed with ALL releases of KDE so far:
it's not really usable until the release reaches a minor version that is at 
least equal the
major version...
KDE1 was goot after 1.1
KDE2 took untiol 2.2 to be usable
KDE3 was good after KDE 3.3, rock solid after 3.5
KDE4 will be rock solid when? 4.4.1?
