It is funny that with so many don't find that mc as file manager, text editor
and more, it is replacing many other tools in basic rescue functions.

Yes, as you mentioned, it is single application that is requested by many
people that I can recognize as skilled in Linux matters.

Hi,

Please, discuss this in the thread created in -factory list not the
kde one, so everyone will benefit from mc being included in all
LiveCDs flavors.
