linedrawing chars appear wrong in mc, had LANG=en_US.UFT-8 and
changing to LANG=en_US corrected them.
also trying to run /usr/bin/entrance give a lookup error for
/usr/lib64/libefreet.so.1 undefined symbol: ecore_list_cb_set
